In a recent analysis of the Brexit negotiation process, Prof Ingrid Shikova presents an interesting metaphor. According to her, the Brexit drama is indeed complicated in a Shakespearean way. If the Withdrawal agreement receives approval, we could expect act two – the negotiations for the future relations between the EU and the UK. If that does not happen, however, too bad for the enormous intellectual effort – it will remain a “Love’s Labour’s Lost” and some actors will probably exit the scene. You can read more on the subject in her recent analysis here.
