The Living Archives

Through the joint efforts of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence and the Diplomatic Institute, memories of participants in the process of Bulgaria's accession to the European Union were gathered. The first volume of The Living Archives was presented at the House of Europe at 28 th January 2020. The second volume will come soon. To remember the road of Bulgaria to the European Union!

Simulation Game

Today, January 10, 2020, after long and heated discussions, the European Council decided on the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027. States' contributions will amount to 1.06% of GNI. This was decided by the Heads of State and/or Governments of the Member States, whose roles were performed by European Studies students of Sofia University under the expert guidance of European Council President Charles Michel, whose role was performed by Prof. Ingrid Shikova.

30th Anniversary of the Jean Monnet Program

On 19 November 2019, the closing event of the 30th Anniversary of the Jean Monnet Program took place in Brussels. The conference, organized by the European Commission, was dedicated to "EU Studies in Digital  Age". Interesting and topical issues related to the educational and social aspects of digitalization were discussed.
